Under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the oversight of the Supervising Elders, the role of the Senior Pastor is to seek the Lord, preach the Word with boldness and clarity, guard doctrine, direct the vision, mission, and values, lead the pastors, staff, and elders, raise and empower leaders, cultivate a Spirit-filled culture, and shepherd BRAVE Church toward courageous obedience to Jesus Christ. He provides spiritual oversight for all campuses, ensures alignment across ministries, and advances the mission locally, nationally, and globally as God opens doors (1 Timothy 4:14-16; 2 Timothy 4:1-5; Acts 20:28).

Pastor Jeff Schwarzentraub serves as Senior Pastor of BRAVE Church—a multi-campus movement in Denver, Colorado, committed to preaching the Word, making disciples, and advancing Christ's Kingdom through the local church. What began in 2010 with a handful of people now reaches thousands weekly across campuses, a global online audience, and inside the Colorado Department of Corrections.

A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M, Pastoral Leadership) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (D.Min, Preaching), Pastor Jeff has given his life to one mission: To awaken a Sprit-filled army to fight for the fulfillment of the Great Commission in our lifetime.

Jeff and his wife, Kim, have three children who love Jesus and are stepping into their own callings. He considers his family his first ministry and greatest earthly blessing.

The role of our pastors, as elder-qualified men, is to seek the Lord, minister the Word, guard doctrine, shepherd God’s people, raise and empower leaders, cultivate a Spirit-filled culture, setsteward the spiritual and missional direction, and execute the vision, mission, and values of BRAVE Church (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; Ephesians 4:11-12).
