In July 2026, a team of BRAVE missionaries will travel to Howick, South Africa to partner with Freedom Church, the home church of Issachar Alliance. For the past 10 years, BRAVE has partnered with Issachar, supporting local churches across Africa. Howick is one of the poorest areas in South Africa making this trip especially meaningful, as the team serves directly alongside Issachar’s home church in its own community.
Freedom Church carries a powerful vision to reach and transform the lives of young people in their community. Together, BRAVE and the Issachar team will invest in that vision—encouraging, equipping, and walking alongside local leaders.
During the trip, the team will host an off-site youth camp for Freedom Church’s youth leaders, creating space for growth, encouragement, and spiritual renewal. They will also lead a Kids Club, youth events, prayer gatherings, and street evangelism—sharing hope and building meaningful connections throughout the community of Howick.
